Shipping and payment conditions 

SHIPPING AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS of ax-lightness composites GmbH, 37115 Duderstadt, Germany

All deliveries are made by UPS or by our forwarding agent. Subsequent deliveries within the EU will of course be sent free of charge. Outside the EU, we will inform you in advance of any costs incurred.
Delivery is always subject to availability. The purchase contract is concluded upon fulfilment by ax-lightness composites, i.e. it only becomes legally binding when the goods are handed over in accordance with the delivery note. For catalogue, telephone and internet orders, we will inform you of the receipt of your order by e-mail.
All our parcels are insured in transit. Upon receipt, please check the package immediately for external damage. Any damage must be reported to the shipping company within 24 hours. You will receive a confirmation of your report there, which you send to us together with the original parcel and a copy of the invoice. Please contact us by telephone before shipping. 

Shipping costs within Germany


  • Shipping costs for bicycle accessories: 6.90 €
  • Shipping costs for wheels: 14.90 €
  • Shipping costs for frame sets: 19.90 €
  • Shipping costs for bicycles in a special box: 49.90 €.

For all countries not listed, an order is only possible after the individual shipping costs have been calculated.

Assembled bicycles are delivered exclusively in a special box, which is already included in the shipping costs.

Orders with delivery addresses in non-EU countries are indicated in the shopping cart incl. German VAT.

When invoicing, the amounts of the ordered items are stated net. For deliveries abroad, customs and import duties may be incurred in the country of destination. These costs are to be borne by the recipient. ax-lightness composites GmbH has no influence on these charges. A refund of VAT on paid goods can only be made if an export certificate for VAT purposes is sent to us within 2 months of the invoice date. 


Payment methods for deliveries within Germany


  • Cash on delivery: UPS collects the total amount for the goods upon delivery. In addition to the shipping costs, a payment slip fee of 7.90 € must be paid. Please note: cash on delivery is not possible for custom bikes!
  • Advance payment: We will send you an advance invoice after receipt of your order. After receipt of payment, the goods will be picked and shipped for you.

  • For PayPal payments outside the EURO currency area, additional fees will be charged depending on the country of delivery. Please ask for the fees before ordering!
