The ZeroGrease Additive allows you to wax NEW chains straight away, without the need for time-consuming solvent degreasing. A specialised process converts the existing grease on the chain into a wax-like substance.
How to prepare NEW chains without using solvents
Instructions:
1. Heat the wax:
Warm up one pack of Perfect Drive Chain Wax (approx. 380g) using a slow cooker, wax heater, or a suitable pot.
2. Add the additive:
Pour in the ZeroGrease additive and allow it to fully blend with the melted wax.
3. Treat the chain:
Place the chain into the liquid wax and leave it at approximately 110–120°C for about 30 minutes to remove residues.
4. Let it cool:
Allow both the wax and chain to cool down to a manageable temperature, then remove the finished chain.
5. Reuse:
This process can be repeated for up to four chains. During this time, the wax can still be used as normal for chain waxing.
