With the “Chain Waxing for New Bike” option, your new BENOTTI road bike or gravel bike will be delivered with a high-quality waxed chain instead of the usual oil lubrication. This allows you to start from day one with an exceptionally clean, quiet and efficient drivetrain.
During the waxing process, the chain is fully degreased using a state-of-the-art ultrasonic device and then immersed in a special hot wax. This penetrates deep into the links and provides an even, dry lubrication – without the typical downsides of oil such as dirt build-up or black residue.
