The new AXAC3 road bike cockpit from ax-lightness continues the consistent evolution of our aero concept, elevating ergonomics, integration, and performance to a new level.
Based on the latest geometry, the AXAC3 features a compact reach of 75 mm and a drop of 120 mm. Compared to the ax-lightness AXAC2 cockpit, the shape has been further optimized and a V-shape has been integrated into the center of the top section, allowing you to reach the brake and shift levers even faster and more intuitively from any hand position. The ergonomically revised drop section ensures maximum control—whether sprinting, descending, or riding long distances.
The top section has been further refined and, with a 20 mm rise (stack gap), provides an optimized hand position for additional comfort and improved aerodynamics. At the same time, the slightly flared drops with 15 mm flare offer greater stability and control, especially at high speeds and in technical sections.
As usual, ax-lightness relies on full integration: all cables and lines are routed invisibly داخل the cockpit. The flat, airfoil-like shape of the top section reduces the frontal area and allows the forearms to rest in an aerodynamically efficient position—similar to aero bars.
Despite its extended features, the AXAC3 remains uncompromisingly lightweight: with an unpainted weight of only approx. 280 g, it is one of the lightest integrated aero cockpits in its class, while offering extreme stiffness.
The handlebar comes with a proprietary computer mount that is compatible with all common manufacturers.
