Available with the fast, light and precise SRAM Red AXS and Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupsets, each with a power meter and ax-lightness carbon wheels with carbon spokes and ceramic bearings!
The enthusiasm for the special edition of the FUOCO ULTRA Special Edition No. 1 has inspired us to present this ultra-light model in a new look. What makes it special is that the new FUOCO ULTRA is also manufactured in Duderstadt.
The frame is made from 14 different types of carbon fibre and weighs approx. 730 g with a frame height of 54 cm.
The extremely lightweight AXAC1 handlebar unit weighs just 280 g. The handlebar has a short reach of 75 mm and a compact drop of 127 mm. We have also given the handlebar bend a harmonious shape so that the brake/shift levers can be easily reached from all grip positions at all times.
The full integration of the cables and lines and the newly designed upper handlebar, which is similar in construction to a wing, offer little resistance to the wind. The modified design makes the handlebar even more comfortable to grip. It is also possible to rest your forearms on the handlebars as you would on a trailer and ride in a particularly aerodynamic position.
The handlebars come with a proprietary computer mount that is compatible with all major manufacturers.
The result of these developments is impressive not only in simulations, but also on the road! The bike impresses with its even higher bottom bracket and head tube stiffness than before. In sprints, the bike inspires with its willing propulsion, and downhill it can be manoeuvred very directly and controlled, even through tight corners. Thanks to the optimised frame geometry and aerodynamics, it remains even more stable in unfavourable wind conditions. Our further optimised ax-lightness ULTRA carbon wheels with a height of 30 mm and the class-leading Continental GP 5000 TT also contribute to this.
We were able to significantly reduce the weight of the frame set (frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and headset weigh well under 2000 grams) by optimising the layout, which benefits the overall weight of the bike. The FUOCO ULTRA starts at 5.8 kg.
The fork and frame offer space for tyres up to 35 mm (inner rim width 21 mm). This means that the FUOCO ULTRA is also ideally equipped for comfort-oriented riders or epic rides.BENOkasko – THE comprehensive insurance for your bicycle!
