We have leveraged our many years of experience in carbon construction (wheel building) to develop the new carbon rims of the SELECTION series. With the SELECTION wheel series, we offer outstanding performance at a fair price-performance ratio.
If you prioritize aerodynamics, the SELECTION 60CX is the right choice. The 60 mm rim depth turns every wheelset into a true speed machine – ideal for triathlon, time trials, and flat races. Despite the deeper profile, the set remains very lightweight at just 1,370 g and is therefore perfectly suitable for everyday use. The bulbous full-carbon rim shape noticeably minimizes crosswind effects. The 30 mm wide rim with a 24 mm internal rim width is specifically designed for gravel, cyclocross, and extreme sprints. It also allows for optimal tire expansion, improving both performance and comfort compared to narrower rims. The internal width is optimized for road tires from 28 mm width.
The wheelset is delivered tubeless-ready, allowing easy installation of tubeless-compatible tires. Of course, the wheelset can also be used with inner tubes. The glossy UD matte finish combined with the laser-etched ax-lightness decals completes the premium look of the wheelset.
The in-house ax-lightness disc hubs used in the SELECTION series, featuring CenterLock mounting, compete at the highest level. The rear hub is equipped with a sealed ratchet freehub system. The in-house ax-lightness disc hubs with ratchet freehub and enduro bearings are designed for long-term racing use.
The weight, including tubeless rim tape, is just 1370 grams (+/–5 %).
