THE benchmark for sub-1000€ carbon wheels: the new engage 50C EVO2 Disc
With the new engage 50C EVO2 Disc wheelset, ax-lightness is launching a wheelset on the market that is light, aerodynamic and stable.
The manufacturing process used for this wheelset and the carbon fibres used make it possible to bring a wheelset onto the market for less than € 1000 with such outstanding properties. With a rim width of 30 mm, a rim height of 50 mm and an inner rim width of 24 mm, the set weighs just under 1390 grams.
Of course, the rim is manufactured as usual as a clincher rim with hooks and tubeless-ready.
With the engage 50C EVO2 Disc, ax-lightness offers an inexpensive tuning option to aerodynamically and visually enhance your bike. This is also ensured by the matt U-finish with laser-engraved engage logo design.
Even with this LRS, ax-lightness uses the tried-and-tested ratchet system as a freehub for the engage rear hub with industrial bearings.
The high-quality Sapim CX Sprint spokes ensure the usual stability and aerodynamics.
Its design makes it an absolute all-rounder that covers the road, gravel and cross sectors.
With a permissible system weight of 130 kg, it can also be used by heavy riders and is also suitable for bikepacking.
The weight incl. tubeless rim tape is only 1390 grams (+/- 5%), which predestines the engage 35C Evo Disc as an optimal all-round wheelset for use on both road and gravel bikes.
